Tau Ewe Bak is a sweet and savoury braised pork dish, slow-cooked in dark soy sauce for a tender, flavourful result.

Chunky pork belly or pork shoulder, hardboiled egg, deep-fried tofu.

Slow cooking with dark sauce, sugar, white pepper, and heaps of crushed garlic is required for at least 3 hours. For vegetarians, mushrooms or carrots are good alternatives.
